The Patrol has a higher GVM, higher Load capacity and Higher GCM than an LC200 with less fuel consumption. The car is used approx every 4-6 weeks to tow the van, but rarely around the city. It is serviced by the dealer every 10,000K and I change the engine oil at the 5,000K interval myself.

9/29/2017 · RATHER than cry into our beers over the loss of a diesel-fueled Nissan Patrol , we’ve taken the bull by the horns and saddled up the Y62 Patrol for a Cape York adventure.. The petrol-only Y62 V8 is the sole Patrol left on the Australian market, and it initially received a lukewarm reception when launched back in 2013.
The petrol V8 in the Y62 is good, but it’s not perfect for outback touring where fuel consumption and range are critical. Nissan actually extended the life of the older, GU Patrol in turbo-diesel form to cater to those customers, continuing that model for a full three years after the Y62 was launched.
9/16/2018 · With some more climbing up the mountains and stop-start work for photography, the fuel figure rose to 25.6L/100km. If you’re gentle with it, the economy is clearly not bad, but if you have to heave the combination up to speed regularly or are towing in hilly terrain, well, the Patrol is naturally going to get thirsty.
